Cryogenic Relief Valve
The Cryogenic Relief Valve is a spring-tensioned device that protects against over-pressure in cryogenic piping systems. Featuring a unique poppet screen that shields the valve from debris in the system, the cryogenic relief valve serves as a blocked line safety in cryogenic systems. The seat and poppet configuration combined with optimized spring ranges provides high flow capacity with minimum pressure accumulation. Designed for cryogenic inline systems, CONCOA offers the cryogenic relief valve with PTFE or PCTFE seals for set pressures above 50 PSIG (3.5 BAR).
- Rugged materials of construction provide long service life
- Self-aligning seat and poppet design offers bubble-tight cutoff for zero leakage to 95% of nominal set pressure
- Unique "dirt guard" poppet protects against contamination ensuring optimum reliability
- Stainless steel gooseneck adapter enables safe discharge to atmosphere or to downstream connection
